Today we went over the passages by Plato and Aristotle and talked about philosophy. The in-class activity was to write an allegory.

HUM 121 September 25

We discussed the passage from the Iliad in Chapter 4 of the textbook and compared Achilles and Gilgamesh. For Thursday, read the sections in Chapter 4 from The Republic (pp. 101-103) and Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics (pp. 105-106).

Study Guide #2 is due Thursday. It will be accepted late only under the conditions set forth in the syllabus.
