ENG 060 June 28
We reviewed the types of sentences and started working on sentence errors: fragments, comma splices, and run-ons.
I've rescheduled the midterm. It will be given in class (not in the testing center) on Thursday, July 5.
Remember that points will be deducted for each absence after the first two.

ENG 030 June 27
We continued working on identifying parts of speech as well as subjects and verbs in sentences. We also talked about clauses and simple sentences. Next week we'll continue with the other kinds of sentences.
On Monday we'll also discuss options for the midterm. If you'd prefer, I'm willing to give it in class instead of having you go to the testing center.
