We watched a video about writing resumes and cover letters. Then the groups for the research project had time to work on their evaluation criteria. See the new handout for the research project and the instructions for Online Assignment #5 in the course website.

ENG 131 March 12

We spent most of class working on research projects, though we did take some time to talk about informal reports and principles of design: proximity, alignment, repetition, and contrast. We'll talk more about page design next week.
